Terms of Service
Last updated June 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tempora (“Tempora,” “we,” “us”), an agent-native personal calendar operated by The Socius Company. By accessing or using Tempora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Tempora reads the meeting boundaries from calendar providers you connect (Google, Outlook, iCloud) and places the to-dos you enter into open work blocks between them. Tempora exposes the same functionality through a web app, a CLI, and an MCP server. The service is provided on an as-available basis and may change over time.
Your account
You sign in through a third-party identity provider (Google or Microsoft). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it, including access tokens you issue for the CLI or MCP server. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Tempora for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data.
- Do not abuse the connected calendar providers’ APIs or violate their terms.
- Do not use the service to store or transmit malicious code.
Third-party services
Tempora integrates with Google, Microsoft, and Apple calendar services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data provided by third parties.
Your content
You retain ownership of the data you create in Tempora. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, and display that data to operate the service for you. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Tempora is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that scheduling output will be error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. You are responsible for verifying your own schedule and commitments.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Socius Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of Tempora.
Termination
You may stop using Tempora at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
